Join JLTLA and our host, Court Apointed Special Advocates ("Dallas CASA"), on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. for a fun-filled social at hotspot Ocean Prime, 2101 Cedar Springs Road. Admission is FREE, cocktails and appetizers will be provided. Guests will receive 2 complimentary drinks.  Dallas Casa is an organization of volunteers who are voices in court for abused and neglected children.  Today, nearly 2,000 Dallas children who have been removed from their homes are waiting for the courts to decide where they can live safely and permanently. Dallas CASA volunteers are trained and supervised to make recommendations that help judges decide what is best for each child.  For many children, Dallas CASA is the only constant during a frightening, uncertain time, and a Dallas CASA advocate can make an immediate critical impact on the life of a child.  Currently, we are only able to serve one third of the children in care and we need your help.
