2008 GOALS: 

The 2008 J..L. Turner, Dallas Black Women Attorneys Committee (DBWA) co-chairs Lateefat Adediran, Jennifer Johnson and Kandace Walter take this opportunity to welcome each of you to what will be a very exciting year for the DBWA committee.   Not only  will this year incorporate our great traditional programs of the past, but we have also outlined innovative ways to reach out to the youth in our community as well as facilitate programs which will aid each of you in your respective practice areas. 

Our 2008 goals include: 1) Increasing participation in DBWA events, 2) Recruiting volunteers for the DBWA Committee, 3) Establishing an identity for DBWA in J.L. Turner and the Dallas legal community.  It is with these goals in mind that we ask you to reach out to other Black women attorneys who are not on the list or who are inactive, and encourage them to attend our events and/or become active participants in the committee.  Please provide them with this email address and encourage them to send us their contact information so that they are informed of all DBWA  programs and events.
